|Recommended: YesInternet is down during COVID and brownpoint recognizes this as a non emergency issue. There are students and workers that live here and depend on the internet to study and work remotely. We will be forced to move somewhere else if we don’t have reliable internet.
|Recommended: YesGreat living here — great job maintaining it clean and neat
|Recommended: YesIt was exactly what I was looking for — Its nice
|Recommended: YesReview — Great apartments and staff.
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live — We leased at brownpoint reserve on blackhawk Rd in Middleton and wanted to move to their new apts in Waunakee to be close to our daughter. Their agent Dylan was very helpful on helping us tru the transition.. We are very happy with our new place and their staff.
|Recommended: NoUnacceptable on-site maintenance — Stains on interior carpets are massive, despite having them recently cleaned. Elevator alarm has been going off in building entrance for months. Trash overflows and graffiti adorns the common areas. Sole garage door works intermittently. I immediately regret the decision to move to this community. The stay at home order is 5 month old. Adapt already
|Recommended: YesExcellent luxury appartment — I do recommend Brownpoint Reserve community, I love the area, and the space. I am happy living there.
|Recommended: YesGreat place to live — Good community, location, and wonderful apartments. Love the hardwood and gas stoves. They have tons of layout options, and management has been very friendly and responsive.
|Recommended: YesExcellent place to live — Great location. Great apartment amenities. Great staff. As previously stated in other reviews, you can hear the upstairs neighbor’s “normal” living activities such as walking, exercising, playing with pets, pulling chairs out, opening closing closets etc. Apartment living comes with noise Outside common area, including ponds and landscaping areas should be posted that no minors allowed without adult supervision. This would hopefully keep the area clean and a place where adults can relax and enjoy the serenity.
|Recommended: YesWe’ve had a great experience renting at Brownpoint Reserve for the last almost 2 years. The quality is unmatched compared to everything else we’ve seen in Madison. Yes, we can sometimes hear footsteps from our upstairs neighbors, but it has never been problematic for us. Beautiful outdoor space and common area. We love having access to basic gym equipment right on site. The staff has been wonderful during our time here. Most of the time, we forget they are even there feels more like a private home in that way . But when you need them, they’re very helpful and responsive. All of our maintenance requests nothing major have been completed within a few days, most of the time the very next day. When we wanted to upgrade from a 1-bedroom to a 2-bedroom apartment within the building, Dylan was incredibly helpful in securing us the exact unit we were interested in and making sure the transfer went smoothly for everyone involved. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
|Recommended: YesI think the property is a very nice, professionally-run, tenant-friendly complex. — IF they were committed to apartment living, I would strongly recommend this property. If they were moving from a HOUSE I would caution them about apartment living noise, especially from neighbors living directly above you.
|Recommended: YesReally enjoy staying here, fantastic property — great spot, very friendly and accommodating staff my only knock is our upstairs neighbor who is extremely loud and inconsiderate... dumped liquid through her balcony panels and ruined our patio furniture... but that isn't really the property's fault.
|Recommended: YesHigh end features great floor plans. — Great location, quite building, friendly neighbors.
|Recommended: YesOverall, living here has been a positive experience. — I really like my apartment and it's nice entertaining friends and family at The Retreat - I always get a lot of compliments about the space. Areas for improvement include the landscaping is very nice but I would put some nice-looking garbage receptacles outside near the doors the only one is next to the grill so that residents can throw out garbage when they see it. The hallway carpet at least on the first and fourth floors are filthy and should be vacuumed and cleaned more regularly. The floor in the refuse garbage room on the fourth floor is filthy. It should be cleaned at least once a week along with the hallways to the entrances. It would also be nice to have an enclosed area where the dogs in the building could play and get some exercise.
|Recommended: YesClean and quite — Living here so far has been great. The halls and common areas are always clean and neat. The management staff has been very helpful with any questions we have.
